errors

Runs in the client Sends nothing to the robot

Return the errors and warnings latched on the robot. It reads the latest status the robot sent, and asks the robot nothing; the list follows the robot within about 20 ms. An error stops the robot until clear_errors(). A warning is listed too, but it does not stop the robot.

Syntax

robot.errors()

Arguments

None.

Returns

list[dict]

One dict per latched error or warning, oldest first, or [] when there is none: key (the error code, with J<n>: in front for a joint or Z_<zone>: for a safety zone, such as "J3:WATCHDOG"), number and title (from the error catalog; None and "" for a code it lacks), level ("error" or "warning") and since (when it latched, in seconds since 1970, UTC).

Examples

[e["key"] for e in robot.errors()]
robot.clear_errors(wait=True)
